THE 2017 HEART TRANSPLANT COINS: CELEBRATING SOUTH AFRICAN INNOVATION
2017 marks 50 years since the world’s first successful heart transplant and the South African Mint has issued a pair of sterling-silver collectable coins to commemorate this medical innovation.
The coins are available individually or as a set of two which is packaged with a miniature sterling-silver mould of a human heart.
