The South African Mint has partnered with the debut Latitudes Art Fair, which is a new art platform that brings together a curated selection of artists, galleries, independent curators and institutions. As part of the partnership, The South African Mint will headline a curated exhibition of early career artists with no gallery representation called INDEPENDENT.
The Mint will also exhibit the work of the six independent artists behind the SA25 coin range, marking 25 years of our democracy to life.
The Fair also affords the public an opportunity to purchase the complete, uncirculated 6-coin set consisting of all the six commemorative circulation coins produced for the SA25 campaign and issued in phases since June.
The South African Mint is honoured to have had the opportunity to work with Mr Tsehlo who has contributed immensely to the organisation’s legacy during his tenure.
September is Heritage month in South Africa and the South African Mint gives you the opportunity to celebrate your heritage with the 2019 Natura coin range which tells the story of human origins. The title ‘Cradle of Humankind’ is well deserved as more hominin species have been discovered in South Africa than any other country in the world.
Don’t miss this opportunity to purchase your very own miniature ambassador of human origin today.
